What the inheritance is, and what it asks of the heirs who carry it.
Abloodright is not money.
It is the right and the obligation to do what nobody else on earth can. King Shelomoh carried such a right three thousand years ago. He received an inheritance from the hand of an angel and used it. That right did not die with him.
Living blood does not stop being inherited when a kingdom forgets.
The line walks the modern world in carriers who have no idea what they hold. Inheritance alone is not enough.
Such inheritance does not arrive unannounced. It is paid for.
The reader meets the carriers in Book I.
Two carriers wake up to a name they have never heard. Testament opens the line.
